We kicked off our year with a bake sale, but not your ordinary bake sale. To coincide with the Global Health Fair in the Bailey Allen Hall, we put on a ‘Bake Sale with a Twisht’. The twist was that all food was vegan, paleo, and gluten free and as it turned out…very, very tasty!
With recipe help from ‘The Little Green Spoon’, our volunteers baked up a storm resulting in surprising treats like Sweet Potato Brownies, Porridge Scones, Banana Butter Squares and so much more.
The event was a great success and a novel, fun way to kick off the new college year with proceeds as always going towards helping our charities in Tanzania and Nepal
